When Ediberto Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vista Alegre FC's protests and gave Ediberto Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Felix Herensuge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Carlos Vander. 21 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Herensuge. River Plate ® 9-12's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jonas Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hortêncio Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Vista Alegre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Carlos Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Felix Herensuge made a huge save. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Egídio Coelho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pezzella in the 39th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes, Zacarias Bartolome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate ® 9-12 and the Vista Alegre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, River Plate ® 9-12's Zacarias Bartolome got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alexsandro Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Felix Herensuge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vista Alegre FC. Hortêncio Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pezzella in the 54th minute of the match. Borja Colidio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Senna made a huge save. After 59 minutes, Antônio Carlos Vander made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. River Plate ® 9-12's Felix Herensuge tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio Carlos Vander might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Herensuge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Carlos Vander ran back to his position shaking his head. Huey Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. River Plate ® 9-12's Felix Herensuge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Vander in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Ediberto Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Felix Herensuge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egídio Coelho's late challenge caught a River Plate ® 9-12's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Coelho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Negri in the 85th minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Felix Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Isidro Galoer hit a great ball. Ediberto Abraão scored 5-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Herensuge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Dominguez in the 95th minute of play. Vista Alegre FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
