In the 13th minute Samo Rano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after El Fortín de Floresta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerry Maguire took the corner. After taking down the ball on Zorros del Desierto's corner Samo Rano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Vimaro quite easily take care of the ball. Alfonso Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Maguire, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, El Fortín de Floresta's Alfonso Vimaro got control of the ball when Nino Maravilha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonel Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Hug's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Niceto Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nino Maravilha in the 37th minute of play. The corner ended in Jerry Maguire almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Fortín de Floresta's Alfonso Vimaro did a great save. If Feliberto Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in El Fortín de Floresta's zone, Samo Rano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Vimaro came out of the goal and Samo Rano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Leonel Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Hug in the 59th minute. Alfonso Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Maguire in the 60th minute of play. Alfonso Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Maguire, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jerry Maguire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Vimaro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Maravilha came free, but Alfonso Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Hug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Leonel Santana made a huge save. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Javier Deneken didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nino Maravilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Maguire scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Vimaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Nino Maravilha. Rodolfo Aranda scored 4-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Vimaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Zorros del Desierto were the better team. Zorros del Desierto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
