In the 20th minute, Simon Baumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, El Fortín de Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Baumar to maneuver through the defense. El Fortín de Floresta's Alfredo Txilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Dominguez in the 30th minute of play. Alfredo Txilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borja Colidio went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borja Colidio to make the kick off.
