Murilo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabek Akkoyun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Tadeu do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curiphila Eagles:s goal. Kiko Mattos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tadeu do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolunay Doğanay having to interfere. Tolunay Doğanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Murilo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacib Selahaddin in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curiphila Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atabek Akkoyun was slow to take the kick. During this time BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Atabek Akkoyun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva did a great save. 32 minutes into the match it was 1-1 when Atabek Akkoyun shot a long shot which zipped by Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper at the right pole. Vacib Selahaddin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paiva having to interfere. If Vacib Selahaddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu in the 45th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vacib Selahaddin came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vacib Selahaddin couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naldo Costa was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo Cearense's late challenge caught a BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 booed when Curiphila Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Atabek Akkoyun managed to get in a good position for a shot. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's supporters rose to their feet, but Atabek Akkoyun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Murilo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolunay Doğanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu do Vale in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Nafiz Ozansu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Curiphila Eagles's Kiko Mattos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tolunay Doğanay. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position.
