Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Arrowsmith in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Rick Arrowsmith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche. de belletrekkers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rick Arrowsmith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche was a little too slow when Vinnie Smith got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 27th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Van Langhendonck to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Nick Bancroft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Bancroft got free with Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Teunis's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnout Teunis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Arnout Teunis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Bridgewater in the 42nd minute of play. Lucas Bridgewater came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche could save by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Lucas Bridgewater dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benne Stoffels was the one to do the kick off. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Bancroft in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Bancroft in the 57th minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Bridgewater came free, but Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Kevin Pilgrim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 63rd minute of the match Arnout Teunis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arnout Teunis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Benne Stoffels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Nick Bancroft. But to his dismay, Nick Bancroft quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Kevin Pilgrim kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Nick Bancroft scored 6-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Coventry Wasps's Kris Oddy was substituted for Lucas Bridgewater. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Arrowsmith in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Crooks didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Vinnie Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinnie Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Coventry Wasps were the better team. Coventry Wasps's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
