After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Edgard Armentier managed to get in a good position for a shot. de belletrekkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Armentier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Augusto Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loui Vissenaekers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s João Augusto Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. from getting a goal against them. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s Zé Roberto Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Andrade to maneuver through the defense. João Augusto Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benne Stoffels went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the de belletrekkers defense, Marcelinho Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yelle Debock. The de belletrekkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yelle Debock should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Didi Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 38th minute, Loui Vissenaekers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Augusto Velasco. The goal made the score 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loui Vissenaekers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip De Groot didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Augusto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loui Vissenaekers in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Georges-Philippe van Haghten got a free kick in the 60th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Karel-Jan De Reijck in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s Víktor Braga. Marcelinho Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yelle Debock having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Washington Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Velasco hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Klaus Grauwen made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto Velasco. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 84 minutes, Marcelinho Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because de belletrekkers had won, even though SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. had held more of the ball.
