With a little luck, Palmeiras's Márcio Freitas got control of the ball when Jonas Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Palmeiras's Téo Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Breno Pernambucano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo de Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Breno Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Palmeiras's Márcio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Souto in the 20th minute of play. Ronaldinho Cosme hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Paulinho Souto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márcio Freitas having to make a save. In the 30th minute Paulinho Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jonas Arruda could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Márcio Freitas however easily saved by the left post. Palmeiras's Márcio Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Palmeiras's zone, Paulinho Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Freitas came out of the goal and Paulinho Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Téo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ademir Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breno Pernambucano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.
Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Breno Pernambucano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Breno Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Senna in the 53rd minute of play. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Ademir Senna scored to the left of an out of position Breno Pernambucano, making the score, 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Cosme came free, but Breno Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Fellipe Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Breno Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Senna. Ademir Senna struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Breno Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Bastos in the 79th minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Breno Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Michel Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breno Pernambucano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Ronaldinho Cosme struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Breno Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. Breno Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmeiras played a much better game than ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ and deserved their victory. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
