An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Cosme in the 4th minute of play forced FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Czeslaw Borczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC GIDLE's Czeslaw Borczak got control of the ball when Téo Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Czeslaw Borczak was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Geovanni Ramalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Geovanni Ramalho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Palmeiras's Márcio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Niemojewski in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Perivaldo Maciel hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match FC GIDLE got a corner. Palmeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedykt Niemojewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC GIDLE's corner Benedykt Niemojewski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Márcio Freitas quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to FC GIDLE getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tomasz Balonek hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Daniel Moizuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Maciel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedykt Niemojewski in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márcio Freitas saved Palmeiras from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Maciel to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match FC GIDLE got a corner. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldinho Cosme to strike the kick off in the second half. Filip Kolano hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Benedykt Niemojewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márcio Freitas having to make a save. Radomil Dziewedik charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomil Dziewedik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC GIDLE getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Geovanni Ramalho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Perivaldo Maciel's late challenge caught a FC GIDLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC GIDLE booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes, FC GIDLE's Benedykt Niemojewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Márcio Freitas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC GIDLE reached it. Márcio Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the FC GIDLE defense, Geovanni Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Borczak. The FC GIDLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Borczak should have stopped the shot. Márcio Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Kolano in the 91st minute of play. Jurand Pisarcik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palmeiras fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC GIDLE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
