In the 8th minute, Francisc Huștea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of VIP booed when Panopticon 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Bergentz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandru Butuc made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Robbie Bergentz sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th match minute, Panopticon 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Siöman to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Panopticon 04's Patric Mager got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Alexandru Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Siöman in the 26th minute of the match. Alexandru Butuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Bergentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandru Butuc made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Eskil Siöman sent off a good shot on target. Francisc Huștea kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alexandru Butuc acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matthias Söderman. Francisc Huștea took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Ljungberg. Fredrik Ljungberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Adrian Văcărescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of VIP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VIP. The referee gave Panopticon 04 a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eskil Siöman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VIP's Alexandru Butuc. 2-1. Steven Bergentz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandru Butuc having to make a save. Steven Bergentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Butuc having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eskil Siöman made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Bergentz in the 53rd minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Alexandru Butuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Panopticon 04 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Steven Bergentz hit a great ball. VIP's Gavril Corocăescu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Horaţiu Levițchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Ljungberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panopticon 04's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciprian Burtea was slow to take the kick. During this time VIP's players had a chance to rest. Alexandru Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Siöman, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Alexandru Butuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Bergentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandru Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Siöman in the 79th minute of the match. Horaţiu Levițchi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Matthias Söderman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandru Butuc skillfully saved the ball. Robbie Bergentz might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandru Butuc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Bergentz ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandru Butuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbie Bergentz went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Panopticon 04 had played much better football throughout.
