After some careless play in the Encarale a la gordita defense, Remus Șerbulea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Igon. The Encarale a la gordita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Igon should have stopped the shot. If Claudio Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Blas Erasto. Encarale a la gordita's Alfonso Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Rednic in the 12th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Telmo. In the 22nd minute, Lucas Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Iosif Asachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Lázaro Santikurtz got a free kick in the 31st minute. Alfonso Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Rednic, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Emanuel Ardeleanu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Emanuel Ardeleanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Emanuel Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Sergio Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encarale a la gordita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Lázaro Santikurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Elisei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Călin Boteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Quentin. Alfonso Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Bobocea, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sergio Lekubegi scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Boteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Encarale a la gordita getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aurelio Quilino hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Rito. Alfonso Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Bobocea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Asachi. 71 minutes into the match, Claudio Quentin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of DINAMO's Călin Boteanu. Călin Boteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Encarale a la gordita's Alfonso Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Rednic in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Lucas Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rednic came free, but Alfonso Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claudio Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Encarale a la gordita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Quentin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Bobocea in the 93rd minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Alfonso Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Encarale a la gordita were victorious despite being under pressure from DINAMO for much of the match.
