Pontus Lindström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maciej Kloczko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ksawery Plaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bękarty Wojny booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Grönberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Feliks Lichucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bogumil Madajczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Örtendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Degerfors IF's Pontus Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Lichucki in the 24th minute of play. Pontus Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Lichucki in the 31st minute of play. Bogumil Madajczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Örtendahl in the 38th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Kenny Forsberg made the kick off in the second half. Bogumil Madajczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Runberg in the 63rd minute of the match. With his leg Bogumil Madajczyk managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Degerfors IF's Kenny Forsberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bogumil Madajczyk stood somewhat misplaced when Kenny Forsberg came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 63 minute. Bogumil Madajczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Stenman in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Bękarty Wojny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Czajka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Dan Grönberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
