A nice corner shot did that Sergio Lekubegi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alexandru Butuc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 13 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Jose Eli. Encarale a la gordita's Alfonso Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Huștea in the 26th minute of play. If Francisc Huștea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Huștea in the 32nd minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Alfonso Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Eli in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandru Butuc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Francisc Huștea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Igon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alexandru Butuc made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Claudio Quentin sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Santikurtz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Sergio Lekubegi made the kick off in the second half. Alexandru Butuc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Calomfirescu came free, but Alfonso Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Horaţiu Calomfirescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Igon. The goal made the score 1-2. After 77 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Quilino. In the 81st minute, Francisc Huștea made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Igon. Encarale a la gordita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Huștea got free with Alfonso Igon in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Encarale a la gordita's Alfonso Igon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Encarale a la gordita from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Alfonso Igon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Mahonea. When the match was over VIP could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Encarale a la gordita throughout the match.
