The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Stenman got free with Alfonso Igon in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Encarale a la gordita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Gartxot to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Igon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isak Termander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Johannes Örtendahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alfonso Igon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Gartxot to make the kick off. Isak Termander hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Lukas Örnberg got a free kick in the 54th minute. Lázaro Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Degerfors IF's Isak Termander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonso Igon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Degerfors IF reached it. Alfonso Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Stenman in the 62nd minute of play. Encarale a la gordita's Alfonso Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Bruhn in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Johnsson came free, but Alfonso Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Degerfors IF's Claes Stenman suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lázaro Santikurtz charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Santikurtz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Degerfors IF's Walter Ödman was substituted for Claes Stenman. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Lázaro Santikurtz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alfonso Igon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johannes Örtendahl went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alfonso Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Ödman scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Igon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Degerfors IF's Johannes Örtendahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Saturnino Padro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Dan Grönberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Igon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Walter Ödman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alfonso Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
