After recieving a nice pass, Granicerul's Dorel Albescu tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alfonso Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Cărtărescu in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Granicerul's zone, Genaro Gartxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Coman came out of the goal and Genaro Gartxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Albescu in the 39th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Alfonso Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Piț hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Gartxot was the one to do the kick off. Emanuel Piț kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Sergio Lekubegi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narcis Coman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Lekubegi. In the 64th match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Băbescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Sergio Lekubegi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Coman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Iustinian Bâlea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Lucas Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Blas Erasto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Iustinian Bâlea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encarale a la gordita the free kick. The supporters of Encarale a la gordita booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Bâlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Encarale a la gordita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Granicerul for a fine match.
