With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Rico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Diniz in the 11th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Cristo Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burni Justo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Paulo Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Paulo Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, HollywooDogs's Luís Paulo Diniz got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the HollywooDogs defense, Burni Justo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Telo. The HollywooDogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Telo should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Blanco. A collision led to Real Club Celta de Vigo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Valerio Delgado hit a great ball. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Cristo Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ana Čonda in the 21st minute of play. After 21 minutes, Gilson Valle made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Cristo Rico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when Real Club Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandro Lermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marílio Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Rico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ana Čonda went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. HollywooDogs's Omar Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burni Justo in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute HollywooDogs were awarded a corner. Wellington Berger went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led HollywooDogs's Wellington Berger to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristo Rico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Blanco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

HollywooDogs's Deivid Magalhães was substituted for Luís Paulo Diniz. Alexsandro Leite took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Rico. Cristo Rico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After some careless play in the Real Club Celta de Vigo defense, Ana Čonda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Rico. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Rico should have stopped the shot. Alexandro Lermo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Deivid Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 83rd minute, Deivid Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Valerio Delgado got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Wellington Berger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristo Rico skillfully saved the ball. Cristo Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ana Čonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Cristo Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Magalhães. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexsandro Leite got free with Cristo Rico in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristo Rico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deivid Magalhães in the 91st minute. The HollywooDogs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HollywooDogs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
