An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Ondino in the 10th minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Iyan having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Vander in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Iyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ricardinho Vander sped through Maravilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herminio Iyan. In the 25th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardinho Vander to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardinho Vander took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Iyan. Herminio Iyan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Guido Rodríguez got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Igor Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Iyan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herminio Iyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Ricardinho Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maravilla's Herminio Iyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ricardinho Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 75th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Herminio Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zeledon Danel hit a great ball. After 81 minutes of play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ulisses Munhoz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Iyan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Danel. Nemesio Damario kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Herminio Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 95th minute of the match. Ricardinho Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Herminio Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
