Andy Petersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aero Björndalen's Andy Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Ricardinho Vander made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aero Björndalen's Andy Petersson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Ricardinho Vander made a precise shot to the right of Andy Petersson. Aero Björndalen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ivan Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aero Björndalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 31 played minutes, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Virgílio Borges shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andy Petersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Litoral EC - CIMZ reached it. After having played for 32 minutes, Ricardinho Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Sílvio Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Petersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Vander's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Noel das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Andy Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ricardinho Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andy Petersson was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Andy Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Litoral EC - CIMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho Vander to make the kick off. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ricardinho Vander was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Andy Petersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 65th minute. In the 75th minute, Toninho Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Tunberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Andy Petersson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Virgílio Borges. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvard Bredberg during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Vander couldn't finish the play. Ricardinho Vander struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Andy Petersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Litoral EC - CIMZ. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Litoral EC - CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
