Hílton Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hílton Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Dedê de Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luiz das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A well placed Ricardinho Vander short distance shot in the 13th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Toninho Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hílton Cardoso hit a great ball. 2-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Ricardinho Vander elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Ricardinho Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 32nd minute of the match. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ricardinho Vander was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 39th minute Dedê de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê de Senna came free, but Sílvio Luiz das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Raí Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Litoral EC - CIMZ. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edson de Lara got a free kick in the 54th minute. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 57th minute of the match. Ulisses Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Raí Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Munhoz came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edson de Lara got a free kick in the 75th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Rossi. After 79 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Linares. Sílvio Luiz das Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Rossi in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Munhoz in the 82nd minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Ricardinho Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ulisses Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raí Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raí Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
