In the 9th match minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Abraão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Arye Suryoye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, Kjell Ros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arye Suryoye and the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Duda Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With his leg Robert Ljungberg managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Adriano Rosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arye Suryoye's Kjell Ros got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arye Suryoye's Robert Ljungberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Mendonça in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arye Suryoye's Kjell Ros got a free kick in the 58th minute. Adriano Rosa scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Ljungberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Dahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Alexander Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Mendonça in the 85th minute of play forced Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Robert Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Ljungberg made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Adriano Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Robert Ljungberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
