The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulu Okaner hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Dejavu got a freekick which was hit by Aras Görkem Akbal. In the 6th minute, Dénes Boross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Zsolt Vörös was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szombathely Squirrels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dejavu the free kick. After 9 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Vörös. Dejavu's Nurkan Perkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dénes Boross in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Dejavu's goal looked a bit too open when Máté Medve came free, but Nurkan Perkel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Dénes Boross ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nurkan Perkel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Dejavu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sacit Babayiğit hit a great ball. Ferenc Jászberényi, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Emrah Türcan came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Dejavu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emrah Türcan couldn't finish the play. Nurkan Perkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Medve in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Kutlualp Yüksel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Dénes Boross cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nurkan Perkel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferenc Jászberényi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nurkan Perkel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szombathely Squirrels. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
After 55 minutes, Mustafa Emre Arman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dejavu and the Szombathely Squirrels players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dejavu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 64th minute of the match, Szilárd Csikós tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nurkan Perkel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When János Major came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Major couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Zsolt Vörös had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nurkan Perkel. Dejavu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zsolt Vörös was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 72 played minutes Dejavu got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Babayiğit. In the 76thth minute of the game Dénes Boross who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dejavu's Nurkan Perkel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nurkan Perkel made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Dénes Boross sent off a good shot on target. Nurkan Perkel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krisztián György in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Selman Uygunel came free, but Gusztáv Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
