The audience thought a goal was coming when Szilárd Csikós got free with Teofilo Salbatore in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dénes Boross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Salbatore having to interfere. Modesto Furman charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Furman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Modesto Furman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Fernan Lalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo el Divague's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szombathely Squirrels the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo el Divague booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máté Medve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 42nd minute Szilárd Csikós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Szombathely Squirrels got a corner. Deportivo el Divague's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferenc Jászberényi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ferenc Jászberényi made a great header on Szombathely Squirrels's corner, it was just that Deportivo el Divague's Teofilo Salbatore managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ermegildo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo el Divague's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gusztáv Jászberényi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Lalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match, Fernan Lalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gusztáv Jászberényi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferenc Jászberényi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Szilárd Csikós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szombathely Squirrels were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo el Divague for a fine match.
