In the 4th minute, Téo Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th match minute, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil do Valle to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dejavu's Mustafa Emre Arman got a free kick in the 8th minute. Nurkan Perkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Bittencourt in the 15th minute of play. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Görkem Akbal in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Selman Uygunel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dejavu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ the free kick. A collision led to Dejavu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Selman Uygunel hit a great ball. Hélio Dante fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 21st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Dejavu's Nurkan Perkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Bittencourt in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Dejavu's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Bittencourt came free, but Nurkan Perkel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selman Uygunel got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 30 played minutes Dejavu got a freekick which was hit by Selman Uygunel. If Kutlualp Yüksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Dejavu's Ulu Okaner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Veiga. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Mané Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurício Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulu Okaner in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kutlualp Yüksel to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurício Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulu Okaner in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Dejavu's Sacit Babayiğit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sacit Babayiğit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dejavu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sacit Babayiğit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, Sacit Babayiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Penha got free with Nurkan Perkel in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nurkan Perkel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Dejavu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlualp Yüksel to maneuver through the defense. Nurkan Perkel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Ramalho in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mané Ramalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nurkan Perkel. That made the score 1-1 in the 91 minute of play. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
