The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes TurboUC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Dechent. After 8 played minutes, Cable a Tierra's Gogo Flores shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marino Brunet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cable a Tierra reached it. Cosme Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Hodei charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Hodei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodolfo Hodei hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Amador Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Guilisasti. Francisco Javier Maroto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Alifonso Jina charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alifonso Jina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TurboUC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alifonso Jina hit a great ball. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenaido Davison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xabel Vallejo in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Danilo Demesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cable a Tierra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TurboUC the free kick. Danilo Demesio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Zenaido Davison kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Anastasio Santana-Bauzá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes, Anastasio Santana-Bauzá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TurboUC and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Santana-Bauzá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Timo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Amador Arias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clemente Dechent. 43 minutes into the match, Marcos Guilisasti notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cable a Tierra's Amador Arias. Amador Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Cosme Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marino Brunet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Xabel Vallejo made the kick off in the second half. TurboUC's Marino Brunet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Erauso in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Xabel Vallejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Arias came out of the goal and Xabel Vallejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Santiago Kelemen got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Villamayor came free, but Amador Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vinicio Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marino Brunet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Turi in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Guilisasti in the 85th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Amador Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Marino Brunet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, TurboUC's Edgar Villamayor got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Guilisasti in the 96th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Amador Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TurboUC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cable a Tierra for a fine match.
