The referee ignored Milanis E.C.'s protests and gave Augusto das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Augusto das Neves got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Ian Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Gimenez. Deportivo el Divague's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Zé Carlos da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Ramirez in the 33rd minute of the match. During the 36th minute of the match Augusto das Neves completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Augusto das Neves a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 36th minute, Augusto das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Lekubegi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé Carlos da Cunha firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 40 minutes, Ian Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milanis E.C. and the Deportivo el Divague players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Ian Azevedo got a free kick in the 41st minute. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Lisandro Lekubegi sped through Milanis E.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Carlos da Cunha. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Furman kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Lekubegi in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play Milanis E.C.'s Ian Azevedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Milanis E.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ian Azevedo hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes, Deportivo el Divague's Domingos Gaitano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Carlos da Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo el Divague reached it. Emiliano Gimenez came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Milanis E.C.'s Maicon Recife. But to his dismay, Maicon Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Domingos Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Zé Carlos da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Lekubegi in the 73rd minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, Deportivo el Divague's Lisandro Lekubegi made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Carlos da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82nd play minutes Lisandro Lekubegi shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Zé Carlos da Cunha and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Maicon Recife got a free kick in the 85th minute. Domingos Gaitano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Carlos da Cunha. Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lisandro Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lisandro Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Zé Carlos da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Zé Carlos da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Lekubegi in the 97th minute of play. Milanis E.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
