Bruce Pesch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklaes Post read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Micael Hedegreen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Maximilian Stößlein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niklaes Post skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batho König in the 43rd minute of play forced AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper Niklaes Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Jasper Dyremose reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sönke Odenwälder. The goal made the score 2-0.

When Patrick Osterhagen came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Osterhagen couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the game, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Heimko Schober nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. AC Farsaebarca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. the free kick. A collision led to AC Farsaebarca getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Micael Hedegreen hit a great ball. Maximilian Stößlein took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niklaes Post. AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pierre Frøst hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Niklaes Post took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heimko Schober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Chrestian Quorp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sönke Odenwälder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Patrick Osterhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Osterhagen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklaes Post breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timm Portman in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sönke Odenwälder saved SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting behind. Sönke Odenwälder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Dyremose in the 82nd minute of the match. Chrestian Quorp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sönke Odenwälder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AC Farsaebarca's Timm Portman got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 87th minute of the match David Pieth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niklaes Post skillfully saved the ball. Niklaes Post made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Batho König sent off a good shot on target. After 90 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by David Pieth. After a rather tough play, AC Farsaebarca's Günther Julskjær got a free kick in the 95th minute.
