After 17 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Batho König. Fae Folgore's Zbyszko Dynda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erich Kellner in the 18 minute of the game. Sönke Odenwälder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Dynda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, Fae Folgore's Jedrzej Kosiorek made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sönke Odenwälder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zbyszko Dynda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sönke Odenwälder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christian Streich fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s protests and gave Christian Streich a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Streich hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Eugeniusz Jazwiec kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Milosz Napierkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Pesch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
