The referee ignored Fae Folgore's protests and gave Korneliusz Piatek a yellow card for diving instead. Korneliusz Piatek hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Fabio Ponce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Xeromo Agraña put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Xeromo Agraña got a free kick in the 11th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kosiorek came free, but Fabio Ponce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Odachowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Fabio Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jedrzej Kosiorek in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Ponce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Perlaza Corcoba got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's zone, Jedrzej Kosiorek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Ponce came out of the goal and Jedrzej Kosiorek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kosiorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Fae Folgore's Jedrzej Kosiorek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Ponce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Zbyszko Dynda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Kosiorek in the 38th minute of the match. When Fae Folgore's Bernard Kazczyk in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Geovanni Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovanni Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Valle to maneuver through the defense. Jedrzej Kosiorek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Geovanni Valle got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Jedrzej Kosiorek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Ponce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Fae Folgore getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Korneliusz Piatek hit a great ball. If Jedrzej Kosiorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Ponce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jedrzej Kosiorek in the 55th minute. Aureliusz Bilicki's late challenge caught a Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliusz Bilicki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fae Folgore getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aureliusz Bilicki hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Kazczyk came free, but Fabio Ponce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Odachowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Ponce came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucjan Odachowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato defense, Jedrzej Kosiorek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Ponce. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Ponce should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes in the game George Galera did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rubén Puerta. If Jedrzej Kosiorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fae Folgore getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Korneliusz Piatek hit a great ball. Fae Folgore played a much better game than Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato and deserved their victory. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
