The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Gauargi came free, but Fabio Ponce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Fabio Ponce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Gauargi. In the 20th minute, Segundo Gauargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Ponce was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The tension between the Cartero de Agronomia F.C. and the Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Anselmo Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Anselmo Errando got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
