In the 4th minute, Lucio Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Weterio in the 5th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Vicente Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Bermudez in the 6th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Vicente Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Urre was a little too slow when Cesar Weterio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Bruno Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Lon to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Seguinus hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tigres Ñacuñán FC's zone, Justo Lon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Orland came out of the goal and Justo Lon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Aguilera to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the La Candela FC defense, Benedicto Mirande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Urre. The La Candela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Urre should have stopped the shot. Justo Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Weterio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Saul Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

55 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Weterio came free, but Vicente Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Bermudez scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guillem notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of La Candela FC's Vicente Urre. Vicente Urre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Tigres Ñacuñán FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gregorio Tello hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Bruno Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Justo Lon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Orland was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 96 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Mariano Orland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Seguinus. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tigres Ñacuñán FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Candela FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
