When Baldomiro Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomiro Gonzalez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Heliodoro Reyes charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heliodoro Reyes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute Baldomiro Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Cacheres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Cacheres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nicanor Cacheres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Nicanor Cacheres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Saul Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliverio Menendez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Bruno Seguinus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Cacheres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Cacheres came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Justo Lon. But to his dismay, Justo Lon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Santo Amer charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Amer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when VAR is coming was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Amer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the VAR is coming defense, Bruno Seguinus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Cacheres. The VAR is coming fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Cacheres should have stopped the shot. Bruno Seguinus scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicanor Cacheres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rogelio Montes's late challenge caught a VAR is coming's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Montes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Rogelio Montes got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nicanor Cacheres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gonzalez in the 74th minute of the match. Nicanor Cacheres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Seguinus in the 76th minute of play. Nicanor Cacheres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Nicanor Cacheres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Seguinus went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The La Candela FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when La Candela FC's Bruno Seguinus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Bruno Seguinus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Cacheres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. In the 95th minute Saul Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Cacheres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezker Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Candela FC fully deserved thier win.
