Bruno Seguinus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Risto Leinatamm having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Grimório was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaagup Laev to maneuver through the defense. Risto Leinatamm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Gonzalez's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Grimório's Risto Leinatamm got control of the ball when Baldomiro Gonzalez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Risto Leinatamm made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Saul Flor sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Grimório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mait Velt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaagup Valgupera to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bruno Seguinus fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Bruno Seguinus a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jaagup Valgupera's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaagup Valgupera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute of the match Jairo Intxixu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Risto Leinatamm skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Grimório's Tauno Aal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Candela FC had won after a very even match.
