Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sever Vintilescu kicked off to start the match. Mikolaj Hodyl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Vintilescu in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when KKS Magines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Burdalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Iordache Cârju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Rio's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Cârju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Hodyl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Iordache Cârju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Horia Berceanu got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Radziszewski came free, but Iurie Mutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrzej Gongolewicz made a great header on KKS Magines's corner, it was just that Academia Rio's Iurie Mutu managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ernest Mahonea hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play Academia Rio's Ernest Mahonea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zygmunt Radziszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Magines's zone, Sever Vintilescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Hodyl came out of the goal and Sever Vintilescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 minutes of play KKS Magines's Andrzej Gongolewicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Andrzej Gongolewicz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Iordache Cârju left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Rio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 68 minutes into the game, Cezar Jder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia Rio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KKS Magines the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Jder to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, KKS Magines's Edward Dombroski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Gilbert Chodzinski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. Horia Berceanu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The KKS Magines supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KKS Magines would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
