Sverker Algren missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 28 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jeremias Vale right hand side. Tobias Överman struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jeremias Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KIA KAHA. Tommy Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jeremias Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Luiz Fábio Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tor Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, KIA KAHA's Tobias Överman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 58 minutes, Diguinho Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbituba - FSCMZ and the KIA KAHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Carlos das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tor Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Hermes's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Diguinho Magalhães went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Imbituba - FSCMZ's João Carlos das Neves to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor Magnusson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Imbituba - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
