The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Sever Vintilescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mikolaj Hodyl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to KKS Magines getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Stanislaw Raflewski hit a great ball. Ksawery Siwy kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Martinescu to maneuver through the defense. Iurie Mutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Dombroski in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to KKS Magines getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Edward Dombroski hit a great ball. Zbyszek Lodowy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliks Pinczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Mutu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sever Vintilescu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Hodyl saved KKS Magines from getting behind. Marian Ozon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Hodyl having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Cucu to maneuver through the defense. Krzysztof Prusinowski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Horia Berceanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, KKS Magines's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Vintilescu came free, but Mikolaj Hodyl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Mutu was a little too slow when Edward Dombroski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. The KKS Magines players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academia Rio were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sever Vintilescu was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, KKS Magines's goalkeeper Mikolaj Hodyl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sever Vintilescu. Iurie Mutu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Dombroski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KKS Magines getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Andrzej Gongolewicz hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Vintilescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Magines's zone, János Oltean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Hodyl came out of the goal and János Oltean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikolaj Hodyl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Ozon in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Sever Vintilescu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Academia Rio were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KKS Magines to leave the ground with a draw.
