An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Hermes in the 22nd minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Walmir Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Mineiro came free, but Jeremias Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gonçalo Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Vale having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Joélson Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Walmir Leme. Lupere FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

Imbituba - FSCMZ's attentive Enéas Rodrigues managed to snatch the ball when Jorginho Madureira made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Jeremias Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Baptista in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Joélson Madureira hit a great ball. Luiz Fábio Hermes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Walmir Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imbituba - FSCMZ. Walmir Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Hermes's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Luiz Fábio Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Walmir Leme made a huge save. Luiz Fábio Hermes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walmir Leme firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imbituba - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
