Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Benjamin Trame made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to FC Unterrudling getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tim Driesen hit a great ball. Nick Abdilla kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Reuben Borda hit a great ball. Benjamin Trame fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Ellul having to interfere. Benjamin Trame recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Clint Bezzina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Heeling was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kyle Axisa hit a great ball. Brandon Ellul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Damm in the 22nd minute of the match. Benjamin Trame could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Brandon Ellul made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Bastian Selmser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ian Depasquale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Heeling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Sliema Dragons FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Steffen Heeling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Depasquale in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, FC Unterrudling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Heimeier to maneuver through the defense. Ian Depasquale took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steffen Heeling. FC Unterrudling's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ian Depasquale from a close distance when the talented Steffen Heeling managed to make a qualified save. FC Unterrudling's players were relieved. Brandon Ellul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Trame, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sliema Dragons FC's Brandon Ellul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Trame in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes FC Unterrudling got a freekick which was hit by Kilian Hegen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Selmser in the 69th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Brandon Ellul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Depasquale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brandon Ellul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Trame in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Ian Depasquale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Heeling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Heimeier during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes FC Unterrudling got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Heimeier. Steffen Heeling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clint Bezzina in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Depasquale came free, but Steffen Heeling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Damm kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Steffen Heeling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Depasquale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clint Bezzina in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steffen Heeling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC Unterrudling booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederick Gatt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Holger Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Unterrudling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Damm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Unterrudling getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Benjamin Trame hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sliema Dragons FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
