After 9 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Nick Abdilla. Emin Olgunsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Ellul having to interfere. Halil İbrahim Balatürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Buttigieg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Yüksel Başol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Brandon Ellul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nick Abdilla hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Emin Olgunsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ErbaA KartaLı's supporters rose to their feet, but Emin Olgunsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Ellul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulaş Kural blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brandon Ellul having to make a save. Halil İbrahim Balatürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederick Gatt, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Brandon Ellul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulaş Kural in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes Sliema Dragons FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulaş Kural who took care of the corner kick. When Nathaniel Baldacchino fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sliema Dragons FC's protests and gave Nathaniel Baldacchino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Nathaniel Baldacchino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes ErbaA KartaLı got a freekick which was hit by Tanju Ergener. 61 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Buttigieg came free, but Halil İbrahim Balatürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ErbaA KartaLı's Halil İbrahim Balatürk got control of the ball when Patrick Buttigieg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Yenal Faydalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reuben Borda made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ErbaA KartaLı's Tanju Ergener. In the 69th match minute, ErbaA KartaLı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanju Ergener to maneuver through the defense. Sliema Dragons FC's Philip Griffin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emin Olgunsu, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Brandon Ellul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüksel Başol in the 74th minute of play. Yüksel Başol charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yüksel Başol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ErbaA KartaLı's Yüksel Başol got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Reuben Borda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Halil İbrahim Balatürk skillfully saved the ball. Frederick Gatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil İbrahim Balatürk having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Halil İbrahim Balatürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Buttigieg. Patrick Buttigieg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Halil İbrahim Balatürk made a huge save. When Yüksel Başol was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Yüksel Başol kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Brandon Ellul came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by ErbaA KartaLı's Ulaş Kural. But to his dismay, Ulaş Kural quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sliema Dragons FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
