After some careless play in the Hoberg United defense, Ulf Böcklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Knut Grevad. The Hoberg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Grevad should have stopped the shot. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Tommy Aleberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Knut Grevad. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Aleberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jonatan Lagrolet hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Tommy Aleberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Knut Grevad. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Aleberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, ZigZag Athletic's Tommy Aleberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Knut Grevad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Tommy Aleberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Knut Grevad was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Sivert Hellsing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZigZag Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hoberg United the free kick. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Sivert Hellsing got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Algot Påk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Lagrolet. After having played for 37 minutes, Ulf Böcklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZigZag Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Böcklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Aleberg in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Grevad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Knut Grevad came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ZigZag Athletic's Miroslav Klose. But to his dismay, Miroslav Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Miroslav Klose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Knut Grevad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half ZigZag Athletic were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigfred Kellebjerg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Knut Grevad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Klose in the 57th minute of the match. Hoberg United's Knut Grevad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. Hans Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Grevad having to interfere. Hoberg United's Knut Grevad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Klose in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Jonatan Lagrolet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoberg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZigZag Athletic the free kick. Tommy Alebergs short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Knut Grevad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Ulf Böcklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Knut Grevad was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Knut Grevad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Aleberg's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Ulf Böcklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Knut Grevad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calle Vidø kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Knut Grevad made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ulf Böcklund sent off a good shot on target. ZigZag Athletic's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
