The crowd rose to their feet as Project Nemesis's Robert Lewandowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Videl. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. Abelardo Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pastor Osoitz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ACF Fiorentina getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Paulo Weather hit a great ball. Sebastian Brytan might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Videl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Brytan ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lewandowski came free, but Abelardo Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Robert Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Project Nemesis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Lewandowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes Project Nemesis got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Labus. In the 74th minute Robert Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes, Fabian Labus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Project Nemesis and the ACF Fiorentina players grew even worse after the yellow card.
