An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Osoitz in the 10th minute of play forced ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's goalkeeper Olaf Orszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ACF Fiorentina fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when ACF Fiorentina's Pastor Osoitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olaf Orszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the game, Pastor Osoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Olaf Orszak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute Pastor Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Orszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes ACF Fiorentina got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Emesto. Horacio Eutor kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Olaf Orszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Osoitz in the 39th minute of the match. After the first half ACF Fiorentina were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Olaf Orszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Pastor Osoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Orszak was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Marcelino Sedeni came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the ACF Fiorentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Sedeni couldn't finish the play. Lucjan Zuraw was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, one of ZŁ Bielsko-Biała:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, ACF Fiorentina's Pastor Osoitz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olaf Orszak. 78 minutes into the game, Pastor Osoitz lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Olaf Orszak. 84 minutes into the match, ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's goalkeeper Olaf Orszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Sedeni. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Sergio Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. ACF Fiorentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Orszak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, ZŁ Bielsko-Biała's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Osoitz came free, but Olaf Orszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ACF Fiorentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
