A collision led to C.del.U FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alvaro Fonso hit a great ball. Casimiro Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Arano in the 17th minute of the match. Filomeno Arano scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Vermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filomeno Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Tonio to make the kick off. Casimiro Vermudo was a little too slow when Filomeno Arano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. Casimiro Vermudo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by La Zabaleta's Filomeno Arano. But to his dismay, Filomeno Arano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 71 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Abella came free, but Feliberto Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Feliberto Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Feliz in the 78th minute of play. Miguel Abella scored 1-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Bittor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliberto Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Feliberto Bittor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Feliz went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Feliz came free, but Feliberto Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Eusebio Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Zabaleta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
