Cesar Indalecio's late challenge caught a Defensores de Fasano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Tono in the 44th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Feliberto Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Tono kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliberto Bittor. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The wind increased when Tobias Tono made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Fasano's Marcial Opilano got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Tobias Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Bittor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Blanco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Xacintu came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateo Blanco slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Silvestre Ranolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Zabaleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Fasano the free kick. Feliberto Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Tono came free, but Feliberto Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Olando scored 6-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Bittor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Defensores de Fasano had played much better football throughout.
