Jorge Climent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Peli in the 23rd minute. Gustavo Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leal Herrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Curcio Gonzalvez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Galindo having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Chico Sabina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Candelaria FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LVCVS AVGVSTI were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurin Rapado was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Sabina to maneuver through the defense. Chico Sabina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Galindo having to interfere. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo got control of the ball when Laurin Rapado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Chico Sabina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Peli scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Climent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Arnas Maestro put in a rough tackle. In the 66th minute, Arnas Maestro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Climent came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Marco Peli. But to his dismay, Marco Peli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Garci Lastras hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jorge Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Osorio in the 74th minute of the match. Jorge Climent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Peli went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Peli came free, but Jorge Climent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the LVCVS AVGVSTI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Candelaria FC.
