Gustavo Dias started the match with the kick off. Cássio Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Peli in the 3rd minute. Aureliano Izotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Loureiro having to make a save. 7 minutes into the game, Diamantino Raminhos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gustavo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th match minute, SC Angrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Raminhos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SC Angrense's Cássio Loureiro got control of the ball when Aureliano Izotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Peli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Loureiro having to interfere. When Diamantino Raminhos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Angrense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Raminhos couldn't finish the play. Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Dias in the 23rd minute of play. Gustavo Dias took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Aureliano Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Izotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Delmar Kelemen charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Kelemen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Kelemen. In the 36th minute, Teodoro Aragão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Guido Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Dias in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Marco Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Dias scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Galindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Guido Koldobika kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to SC Angrense getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Diamantino Raminhos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Koldobika in the 54th minute of play forced SC Angrense's goalkeeper Cássio Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Machado got free with Gustavo Galindo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Izotz. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo got control of the ball when Diamantino Raminhos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Diamantino Raminhos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Dias in the 80th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Izotz in the 82nd minute of the match. Cássio Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Izotz in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Angrense's Herberto Sanches got a free kick in the 84th minute.
