Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nemesio Dimas came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Anselmo Madureira. But to his dismay, Anselmo Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Hector Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Atlético Montserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Formerio to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Lima came free, but Nemesio Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by William Arósio. The Itajaí Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Itajaí Football Club's Anselmo Madureira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. William Arósio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nemesio Dimas firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cleto Formerio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Madureira in the 37th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Nemesio Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Atlético Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Hector Eufrasio. 41 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's Juarês Gerber broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Saturnino Marques's late challenge caught a Itajaí Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Marques helped the player get up and apologised. Saturnino Marques hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Nemesio Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Madureira in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Sílvio Luís do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When William Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Arósio couldn't finish the play. When Benê Lima came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Lima couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Anselmo Emenon got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Madureira in the 75th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Nemesio Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Lima came free, but Nemesio Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Cleto Formerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Atlético Montserrat defense, Anselmo Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Dimas. The Atlético Montserrat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Dimas should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Anselmo Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nemesio Dimas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Sílvio Luís do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Itajaí Football Club had played much better football throughout.
