Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Camargo in the 21st minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Waldemar Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Camargo in the 29th minute of play. Armandinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Ekain in the 32nd minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Camargo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rodriguinho Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Rodriguinho Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Mattos having to interfere. Fernando Cefero made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Waldemar Camargo sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Camargos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Fernando Cefero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodriguinho Valladares during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodriguinho Valladares hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wakanda fv FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
