Feliberto Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Montebello in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, El retorno del Pincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Cedro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Templars FC booed when El retorno del Pincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Teyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Peter Degiorgio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Mark Montebello made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Jerardo. El retorno del Pincha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Cuschieri in the 22nd minute of play forced El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper Feliberto Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan Pizzuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Aquilina hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Valentin Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El retorno del Pincha getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marco Pudes hit a great ball. Valentin Platon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Michael. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mark Montebello made the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Pizzuto having to interfere. Feliberto Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Aquilina in the 59th minute of the match. Saturnino Michael hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Saturnino Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Templars FC booed when El retorno del Pincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Templars FC's Mark Montebello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliberto Jerardo. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. Colin Cassola charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Colin Cassola got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Gilbert Camenzuli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Platon struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dylan Pizzuto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El retorno del Pincha. After 75 played minutes El retorno del Pincha got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Teyo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Cuschieri got free with Feliberto Jerardo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Platon in the 85th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Cuschieri scored 0-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Jerardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The El retorno del Pincha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Templars FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Templars FC.
