Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodor Urbilla started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes in the game, Peppino Azzopardi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rafel Llama having to interfere. Mark Borg Xuereb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 12 in the game by Mark Borg Xuereb from a close distance when the talented Rafel Llama managed to make a qualified save. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's players were relieved. Dylan Pizzuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lluc Cribell in the 22nd minute of play. Rafel Llama made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Mark Borg Xuereb sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Faustino Pola got a free kick in the 28th minute. Mark Cuschieri, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 31 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Borg Xuereb. Quinito Merodio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mark Borg Xuereb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Perfecto Tabernilla got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mark Borg Xuereb made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Teodor Urbilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Pizzuto. Templars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodor Urbilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 59th match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luigi Abela Medici to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Peppino Azzopardi hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Aquilina. Dylan Pizzuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Urbilla in the 76th minute of play. Rafel Llama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Borg Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Borg Xuereb came free, but Rafel Llama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Borg Xuereb in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafel Llama saved JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC from getting behind. Rafel Llama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Degiorgio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rafel Llama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peppino Azzopardi went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Rafel Llama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Degiorgio in the 91st minute of play. Archibaldo Arria's late challenge caught a Templars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Archibaldo Arria helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC got a freekick which was hit by Archibaldo Arria. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
