In the 15th minute Vaggelis Kountouroudas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léonard Beuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Vaggelis Kountouroudas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Léonard Beuve. After 25 minutes, Côme Rouquette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avel Vat and the Unione Sportiva players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Kountouroudas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Nugues to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Kountouroudas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Léonard Beuve when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Léonard Beuve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaggelis Kountouroudas's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Kountouroudas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Léonard Beuve was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseas Rousses in the 57th minute of play forced Avel Vat's goalkeeper Léonard Beuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léonard Beuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Kountouroudas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Unione Sportiva booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayan Friess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unione Sportiva walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
