The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Fábio Freire was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Desfachatados F.C.. Narciso Pudes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Paulo Corrêa. 1-1. If Leonardo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Desfachatados F.C.'s Lázaro Donostia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. João Paulo Corrêa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Desfachatados F.C.'s Melquiades Ritchie shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 33 played minutes Uriel Oro rounded Umbrella Corporation's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-1. Melquiades Ritchie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Paulo Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Lázaro Donostia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Paulo Corrêa, passed just outside the right post. 45 minutes into the game, Uriel Oro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Paulo Corrêa. Uriel Oro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The wind increased when Douglas Abreu made the kick off in the second half. João Paulo Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Donostia in the 53rd minute of the match. Umbrella Corporation's Douglas Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leonardo Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umbrella Corporation's protests and gave Leonardo Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. Umbrella Corporation's João Paulo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Pudes in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Desfachatados F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Uriel Oro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Douglas Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umbrella Corporation's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umbrella Corporation's João Paulo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Pudes in the 86th minute of play. João Paulo Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Donostia in the 88th minute of the match. Umbrella Corporation's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Fábio Veloso in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Desfachatados F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Umbrella Corporation had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
